Lex Baer

Dr. Lex Baer is a member of the American Academy of Psychotherapists, serves as Editor of their Newsletter and is a Fellow of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. He is a Diplomate in the American Psychotherapy Association and serves on the Editorial Board of its Annals. Dr. Baer is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and holds the Florida designation as a Qualified Supervisor. Lex is a graduate of Indiana University, Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and Christian Theological Seminary where he received his Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling. Rev. Dr. Baer has worked in both a pastoral counseling institute and a psychiatric practice, and has been a Presbyterian pastor for 24 years, serving churches in Illinois and Cincinnati, including 12 years as co-pastor with his wife, Louisa. Together they have two married daughters. He drives a Miata, bicycles for fun and fitness, and looks forward to reactivating his pilot's license. Lex specializes in helping individuals through the stresses and pains of life now and those from long ago, helping couples rebuild relationships of health and love, and helping all people reconnect with a generous God.
