We want counseling to be available to people who are less able to pay. So we adjust our fees to help. We do this because we are a ministry of the church, because God loved us, because we care about people in pain, because God wants us to, and because people like you make it possible.
In 2007, we provided $85,000 in reduced fee services and our ministry is growing wonderfully. In 2009, we expect to provide over 2500 counseling sessions. The generous support of the Presbyterian Churches in Volusia County begins to make this possible. But their support is not enough.
We need your help to continue to help those in very great need.
• $27 is the gap for every session between what we receive and what we need. How many gaps will you fill?
Here are some other ways to think about the need:
• $80 is what it actually costs us to provide one counseling session
• $480 will stabilize a child in crisis
• $800 will re-vitalize a marriage in conflict
